2026 WRRB calendar photo contest

The Wek'èezhìı Renewable Resources Board (WRRB) is seeking photograph submissions for its 2026 calendar.

This year, we are hoping to see photos of your favorite birds in Wek'èezhìı, including waterfowl, songbirds, migrant birds, raptors, or other birds.

WRRB is accepting high-resolution photos representing different birds throughout the year.

Please include:

- Species of bird

- Location of photo

- The month or season the photo was taken

- Photographer’s name and contact information

Selected photo winners will receive a WRRB swag bag, and one lucky winner will have their photo featured on the cover of our 2026 calendar.

The deadline for submitting photographs is May 31, 2025, at 5 p.m.

OUTLINE OF THE POSITION:

The Receptionist is accountable for providing administrative support for the Gamètì Presence Offices by acting as a first point of contact and providing operational support, providing administrative support for the Community Director and other presence office employees and ensuring all Tłı̨chǫ Government office equipment in the presence office is maintained.The Receptionist will provide operational support for the Community Presence office by receiving residents and visitors.

The incumbent will provide administrative support for the Director and department employees by tracking and posting staff schedules, assisting in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference telephone calls/ZOOM/Teams including catering, coordinating staff meetings including contacting participants and arranging rooms, and snacks/refreshments, taking minutes as requested and tracking meeting follow-up and activities.

EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Completion of an office procedures and/or administration program.
  • Experience with filing systems and procedures.
  • Experience with office administration and receptionist services.
  • Good computer skills and the ability to establish and maintain electronic databases and filing systems and use Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and the Internet for research purposes.
  • Ability to set up Zoom/Team Meetings.
  • Very good organizational and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and work ethics.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Ability to speak the Tłı̨chǫ language is strongly recommended.
