Caribou Monitoring - Multiple Positions

Ekwǫ̀ Nàxoèhdee K’è - Boots on the Ground program is looking for people to work as caribou monitors on the barrenlands in July, August and September. The job requires working two or three weeks at one of our camps at Kokètì, Deèzàatì or Ek'atì.

  • Elder (do not need resume)
  • Bear monitor (need proof of certifications or take the training)
  • Boat driver (need proof of certifications or take the training)
  • Camp helper (need proof of certifications or take the training)
  • Cook (camp cook certificate is preferred)
  • Research assistant
  • Researcher (previous research experience is required)
  • Youth (age 18-23 as of July 1 2025)
