Are you interested in helping students, elders, and low-income-earners in Whatì file their Income Tax Returns in March and April 2025? If yes, then register to get trained as a volunteer.
Volunteer training Whatì is November 25-27, 2024 and will include:
- Training and practice on CIVTP UFile tax software
- Registering you with CRA's Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP)
- Getting access to electronic filing and other CVITP resources
- Helping you get your CRA MyAccount Access - if you don't already have it
- Assigning you a dedicated laptop for tax preparation
- On-going training, assistance, and troubleshooting will be provided for volunteers through Zoom throughout the tax season
Volunteers should:
- Be trusted by their community
- Be eager to contribute to their community
- Have basic computer skills
- Be able to pass a criminal record check
- Have a cellphone to receive security codes from CRA
- Have or be able to open a CRA MyAccount
