The Tłı̨chǫ Government is pleased to announce the return of the Jordan’s Principle Food Assistance Program for August 2025. This marks the fourth time the program has been offered since started in late 2024, and it continues to provide much-needed support to Tłı̨chǫ families.
Each eligible family will receive $400 per child/youth aged 0–18 to help with the cost of food for the month of August. The program has already helped hundreds of families access nutritious food and ease some of the financial stress that often comes with raising children.
Deadline to Apply: Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
Families are encouraged to apply early.

Who can apply?
- Children/youth must be between 0–18 years old
- Must be Tłı̨chǫ citizens
- Must live in a Tłı̨chǫ community or in Yellowknife
- Applications must be submitted using the online form
