Geoscience Training on Tłı̨chǫ Lands

Interested in understanding more about the rocks on Tłı̨chǫ Lands or starting a career in the mineral resource industry?

• Build understanding of mineral potential around Tłı̨chǫ Lands
• Get hands on experience with geologists from the Northwest Territories Geological
  Survey (NTGS)
• Learn about how the Tłı̨chǫ Land Use Plan and access to Tłı̨chǫ Lands works for mineral exploration projects.

DCLP and NTGS are hosting a training opportunity at the Gamètì Culture Camp for 5 days (June 16th - June 20th). We are partnering with Client Services for the application intake. Please apply with the Career Team.

You will be required to overnight in the camp (tents or cabins). Successful participants will receive a bursary upon completion.

Course information:

• 8 seats available. 2 will be selected from each community.
• Must be a Tłı̨chǫ Citizen and be 19 Years of Age.
• Deadline to Apply: Tuesday June 3, 2025
• June 16 - 20, 2025 (Travel Day June 15 & June 20)
