Tlicho Logistics (TCL) is 100% Indigenous Owned by Tlichǫ Investment Corporation. We provide Site Services Expertise, Project Management, Maintenance Service and Personnel for remote mine sites.
We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Janitor position located at the Diavik Diamond Mine Site, NT.
Work Schedule: 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off subject to change to 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, 12 hour days/nights.
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Good communication skills;
- Knowledge of WHMIS, MSDS, safe handling of chemicals;
- Ability to work in high stress situations and resolve issues; and
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team.
As a Janitor of Site Services, you will be responsible for the following:
- Janitorial duties in various areas of the mine site; and
- Other labourer duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License.
This position requires a person with a proven ability to work in a cross cultural, diverse environment demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. The ability to speak the Tłı̨chǫ Language is considered an asset.
