Winter Road Update - April 10, 2025
The Tłı̨chǫ Winter Road system, serving the communities of Gamètì, and Wekweètì̀, is now CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.
Travel will not be permitted anywhere on the Tłı̨chǫ winter roads after 10:00 am MST today.
To enhance Public Safety, wooden barricades will be placed at the Tłı̨chǫ Highway (HWY #9), Gamètì, and Wekweètì junctions to alert travellers of this closure.
Please use caution on all NWT Winter Roads.
