The NWT Literacy Council and Client Services Department of the Tłı̨chǫ Government are hosting the “Skills for Success” Career Development Program in Wekweètı̀ from April 24th to June 2nd, 2023. 

This program is for youth and adults from under-represented groups (e.g. Indigenous people, newcomers to Canada, women) who live outside Yellowknife. It supports participants’ personal, cultural, and employment growth and experience. 

The program is six weeks, four weeks will in a classroom, and two weeks at a work placement in one of these areas: pre-trades, retail and hospitality, or community government.
