Tłı̨chǫ Winter Road - Whati Opens at 2pm.
The Tłı̨chǫ Winter Road to Whatì will OPEN this afternoon at 2:00 PM to 8,000 kilograms Gross Vehicle Weight.
- Watch for depressions in the ice on Marian Lake at Km 23 and km 25 in the south bound lane;
- Watch for heavy equipment working between km 43 and km 54 in the Rat Lake area;
- Watch for soft areas along edges on portage’s;
- Speed limit throughout the winter road is 50 km/h.
Please use caution on all NWT Winter Roads. The Winter Roads to Gamètı̀ and Wekweètı̀ are currently under construction.
