Tłı̨chǫ Government Provides 2018 Harvest Subsidy Payment
Behchokǫ̀, NT (May 25, 2018) - The Chief Executive Council (CEC) approves a 2018 Harvest Subsidy Payment of $250 to each enrolled Tłı̨chǫ Citizen.
Citizens can submit the 2018 Harvest Subsidy Payment Request Form starting May 25, 2018.
The 2018 Harvest Subsidy Payment Request Form can be downloaded from www.tlicho.ca and hard copies are available for completion at the Tłı̨chǫ head office in Behchokǫ̀ and Presence offices in Whatì, Gamètì and Wekweètì.
There will be a seven (7) week processing time. Processing will be in the following order:
- A Citizen must submit a 2018 Harvest Subsidy Payout Request Form to the Enrolment Office.
- Once Enrolment Office receives your 2018 Harvest Subsidy Payout Request Form. Processing time will be seven (7) weeks depending on the volume, and would appreciate your patience. Information will be verified. Missing information will delay payment.
Please note that the Tłı̨chǫ Government Administrative Policy and Procedure Manual requires that any outstanding cheque which cannot be located and/or if the cheque is stale dated, the cheque will be removed from the outstanding cheque list on March 31st and funds will be reimbursed to the Tłı̨chǫ Government’s general account.
Cheques will not be reissued more 90 days after the year-end in which they were stale-dated.
To avoid delay, it is the responsibility of Tłı̨chǫ citizens to update and keep current their contact information with the Enrolment Coordinator. Additional information may be required if your citizen file is not up to date.
