Elizabeth Mackenzie Elementary school will be closed on Thursday, June 21st for Aboriginal Day. The school will also be closed on Friday, June 22nd , during this time the teachers will be writing report cards. EMES will reopen for regular classes on Monday, June 25th.

The last day of classes for students will be Wednesday, June 27th. Students will return to school on Tuesday, September 4th. 

• We will be having our Tłı̨chǫ Public Speaking event on Wednesday, June 20th starting at 1:30pm. All are welcome!
• Our Kindergarten and Grade 6 graduation will take place on Tuesday, June 26th starting at 10:00am. There will be a barbeque immediately following the ceremony to celebrate our 2017-2018 grads.
• ****We will be keeping our students at the school during lunch time of the 26th so that they can take part in the barbeque. We will be running a lunch time bus for those parents who would like their children to go home at that time. If you would like your child to be home between 12:00pm and 1:00pm on the 26th, please contact the school to notify us.
