Starting July 20th, The Canada Child Benefit will be increasing to keep up with the cost of living.

Our government is making this increase two years ahead of schedule, in order to give Canadian parents even more money each month to help them provide for their children.

I visited the Whati Day Care and Play School last week to talk about how this great program helps northern families. 

Here in the Northwest Territories, over $2.5 Million of tax-free CCB payments go to families each month, at an average monthly payment of $620!
