Behchokǫ̀, NT (March 16, 2018) - On behalf of residents of the Tłı̨chǫ Government, it gives us great pleasure to recognize the athletes and youth ambassadors that have been selected to represent the NWT at this year's Arctic Winter Games in Hay River and Fort Smith.



We congratulate all athletes who make the commit to train for this great opportunity, including those who tried out at the regional and territorials. The Tłı̨chǫ have a strong history of having athletes and youth ambassadors representing us at these games.  Competition is good for the mind and body, and our current Tłı̨chǫ athletes and youth ambassadors continue this strong tradition.

 On behalf of the Tłı̨chǫ people, we extend our congratulations to Team NWT and we wish you all the best at the games.  This is your opportunity to give it all you can and more.  Your communities are watching and supporting you, so show that true Tłı̨chǫ Spirit and Sportsmanship every day.
