August 14-17, 2022 we will be celebrating the 100^th Anniversary of Mǫwhì signing Treaty 11 with a Culture and Arts Festival in Behchokǫ̀.

The planned activities include:

• Arrival of the canoes, community feast, drum dance and fireworks on Sunday, August 14 4:00 pm-11:00 pm
• Official Opening ceremonies and treaty signing re-enactment Monday, August 15 10:00am-noon 

Monday, August 15 to Wednesday, August 17:

• Culture and art displays
• Musical and cultural performances
• Cultural demonstrations and workshops for all ages
• Treaty 11 exhibit and photo displays
• Evening entertainment including a talent show, a fashion show and concert
• Outdoor activities, children’s games
