Tłı̨chǫ Government is pleased to welcome Chief Bertha Rabesca Zoe and Chief Charles Nitsiza as newly elected leaders and to welcome back Chief Adeline Football and Chief Doreen Arrowmaker. We look forward to working together in the spirit of unity, respect, and service to Tłı̨chǫ Nation.

Tłı̨chǫ Government would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Clifford Daniels and Alfonz Nitsiza for their many years of leadership and dedication. Their service has contributed significantly to the strength and progress of the Tłı̨chǫ Nation.

We recognize and congratulate the newly elected Tłı̨chǫ Community Government councillors who will now serve as Members of the Tłı̨chǫ Assembly. We also thank those who have completed their terms – your service has been essential.

All newly elected and returning Chiefs and Assembly Members will take the Oath of Office at the Annual Gathering on August 11, 2025.

Until that time, the Tłı̨chǫ Government will operate in a caretaker capacity. While regular operations will continue, any major decisions or commitments requiring a decision by the CEC and/or Tłı̨chǫ Assembly will be deferred until after August 11, 2025.

We thank all past and present leaders for their service and remain committed to a smooth and respectful transition.
