YELLOWKNIFE (October 31, 2022) – The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) is pleased to congratulate the 2021-2022 Apprenticeship, Trade and Occupation Certification award recipients. The annual awards recognize: Top Graduating Apprentice Award, Top Interprovincial Red Seal Mark Award, Top Mark Recipients and Certified Journeypersons.

Across Canada, October 30 to November 5 is National Skilled Trade and Technology Week. The week raises awareness of the many career opportunities in skilled trade and technology in the Northwest Territories (NWT) and Canada.

During National Skilled Trade and Technology Week, the GNWT recognizes and celebrates the academic achievement of NWT Apprentices and Journeypersons. This year, 40 individuals are recognized with the Apprenticeship High Mark award and 52 individuals obtained journeyperson certification in the NWT.
