Rover Metals Corp. (“Rover”) will be commencing its late-spring exploration drill program at the Cabin Lake Project north of Russell Lake next week (the week of June 14th) as follows:
- Exploration supplies and the drill rig will be mobilized to site by helicopter from the Behchokǫ̀ airport on Monday June 14, 2021;
- Exploration drilling is expected to commence on Tuesday June 15th;
- The exploration program is expected to last a minimum of eight weeks;
- The exploration crew will be residing in camp. Due to COVID-19, and required COVID-19 protocols, this will be a closed camp for this spring’s exploration program.
COVID-19 Protocols
There will be very limited contact between the Yellowknife-based personnel, or Rover’s employees, and the local community. The camp at Cabin Lake, and any worksite on the property will not be open and accessible to off-site NT citizens as a result of the current COVI-19 health and safety protocols. There will be a single point of contact between the field exploration geologist and the workers from Behchokǫ̀ working at site on brushing and trail clearing work. Community laborers will be working outdoors, and all health protocols (physical distancing) will be observed in their interactions with the on-site field geologist. Community laborers will not be staying overnight in the camp. Should you require any additional information, please contact Judson Culter, CEO, Rover Metals Corp. at [email protected].
