The Tłı̨chǫ Winter Road to Whatì will OPEN this afternoon on January 25, 2021 at 3:00 PM to 10,000 kilograms Gross Vehicle Weight.
• Watch for multiple pressure ridges on Marian Lake;
• Watch for men and equipment working Between portages 9 to 13 (km 55-68);
• Speed limit throughout the winter road is 50 km/h.
Motorists are asked to use caution on all NWT Winter Roads. The Winter Roads to Gamètì and Wekweètì are currently under construction.
