Completion of the Whatì Community Housing Plan
[January 30, 2020], [Yellowknife, Northwest Territories] - The Honourable Paulie Chinna, Minister Responsible for the Northwest Territories Housing Corporation (NWTHC) and Homelessness along with Chief Alfonz Nitsiza are pleased to announce the completion of the first Community Housing Plan in Whatì.
On December 17, Minister Chinna along with leadership from Community Government, Chief and Council, the Tłı̨chǫ Government and the NWT Housing Corporation met to finalize and celebrate the completion of the Whatì Community Housing Plan.
The GNWT is committed to working closely with the Tłı̨chǫ Government, the Community Government of Whatì, and all other partners to ensure that meaningful action results from the development of this Community Housing Plan.
