Tłı̨chǫ Winter Road - Update
Please be advised that as of Monday, April 01 the Tłı̨chǫ Winter Road system is on no longer restricted to Night Travel only.
The Whatì Winter Road is open to 36,000 Kilograms Gross Vehicle Weight.
The Tłı̨chǫ winter road to Gamètì is now open to 20,000 Kilograms Gross Vehicle Weight.
- Watch for exposed rock and rough sections on entrances to portages.
The Wekweètı Winter Road is open to 14,000 kilograms Gross Vehicle Weight.
Please watch for equipment working throughout the Tłı̨chǫ winter road system.
Please watch for fuel trucks conducting resupply between the junction of Highway 3 and Gamètì.
