The Trail Of Our Ancestors is an annual canoe journey to the Tlicho Annual Gathering.   Through our elders, oral history is passed on about how our people traveled by canoe in the summer and fall to familiar fishing grounds by birch bark canoe.   It is an opportunity to retrace our path through eyes of our elders and experience traditional spirit that will carry with them for generations.  All canoes from communities will arrive on Monday, July 7th, 2014 in Whati.
