The risk to public in the NWT remains low and there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the territory as of 4:00pm Monday March 16th.

 

The Tłı̨chǫ Community Services Agency is taking proactive steps to address the COVID-19 pandemic implications for schools and all other program areas.

 

The NWT Chief Public Health Officer has recommended that all NWT schools be closed until after Easter break as a way of proactively “flattening the curve” for when COVID-19 presents in the NWT.

 

As such, all TCSA schools will be closed through to the end of the Easter weekend, with classes set to start again on Tuesday April 14th.
