Currently the Tłı̨chǫ Winter Roads to Whatı̀ and Gamètı̀ are OPEN and in good driving condition.

Please be advised that there are ‘Hand Games’ in Whatı̀ this weekend and traffic is expected to be heavier than usual on both the Whatı̀ and Gamètı̀ Winter Roads.  Also be aware of winds up to 40 km/h forecasted for tonight and tomorrow that may affect visibility.  Please drive to the condition of the road and watch for equipment working.

The Whatı̀ and Gamètı̀ Winter Road are open to 12,000 Kilograms Gross Vehicle Weight.  The Wekweètı̀ Winter Road is under construction.
