Tłı̨chǫ Tourism sponsoring Online Tourism Program
Tłı̨chǫ Tourism under the Client Services Department will provide online Tourism program, to 14 Tłı̨chǫ Citizens.
The program has no schedule, no assignments and designed to go at your own pace. This is a tool to help you develop your own business and you have to be self-motivated.
Tłı̨chǫ citizens are trained, skilled, knowledgeable about their culture and land, and have great ideas for tourism businesses. Keep in mind that tourism is more than just taking people on guided tours. Tourism includes accommodations, food services (cafes, food trucks or catering), transportation services, cleaning and laundry service, cultural, arts, crafts, storytelling – to name a few. If you’ve been thinking about starting a tourism business, this is the right time to start.
