We are please to announce the 2018 Tłı̨chǫ Literacy T-shirt Contest Winner to Juliet Mackenzie of Behchokǫ̀. Juliet’s design has been made into t-shirts.
Juliet was inspired by the symbols of the Tłı̨chǫ Flags, beadwork, and her love for her home, land and culture.
500 T-shirts have been made based on her designed, and will be delivered to the schools in the Tłı̨chǫ Region.
We would like to thank all the Tłı̨chǫ citizens who participated in the Tłı̨chǫ Literacy Contest. All participants receive a gift bag full of books and gift cards.
Tłı̨chǫ Literacy Contest was sponsored by Career Development and funded by ECE-GNWT.
The 2019 theme is “Our Ancestor”, submission must include the use of the Tłı̨chǫ language. Client Services will be accepting entries starting September 01 until November 29th, 2019.
