In this inaugural year, 2015 the Chief Executive Council would also like to recognize the negotiating team, chiefs and elders from 1992 to 2005 for their dedication to the formation of the Tłı̨chǫ Land Claims and Self-government Agreement.
Chief Executive Council of the Tłı̨chǫ Government, have announced the first recipients of the Tłı̨chǫ Government Awards. They are:

- Philip Rabesca of Behchokò (Lifetime Achievement Award)

The Award Ceremony will take place, on Thursday, January 14th, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Culture Centre in Behchokǫ̀, NT.
2016 nomination forms are available at all Tłı̨chǫ Government offices and at www.tlicho.ca. The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2016.
