There have been several forest fires in the Gameti area this summer.  Aerial Photos of the forest fire were taken roughly five to ten minutes away by helicopter from the Community of Gameti. 

Remember that permits to burn are required during the Closed Season, May to September, contact your local ENR Office for details.
