Midwifery in the NWT - Sharing Circle

Have you or your partner been pregnant? What did you think about the care you and your baby received?

Join us on March 10 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at the Khon Go Cho Sportsplex to talk about your experiences with maternity care services.

The sharing circle is being led by DPRA Canada, who has been contracted by the GNWT Department of Health and Social Services to seek public feedback about maternity care services and midwifery in the Northwest Territories. Midwives provide care during pregnancy, birth, and the first weeks after birth.

We are looking to speak with women and their family members who have or would like to receive maternity care in the NWT.

Food will be provided. Moms, dads and kids are all welcome. If you would like to come, please email [email protected].

Can’t make it? Be sure to fill out this survey online to let the Department of Health know how they can improve maternity care services.
