Chief Clifford Daniels of Behchokǫ̀, Chief Alfonz Nitsiza of Whatì, Chief David Wedawin of Gamètì and Chief Charlie Football of Wekweètì attended the Land Claims Agreement Coalition Leadership meeting in Ottawa February 26-27, 2019. 

Priorities for 2019 were established and include – Modern Treaties Implementation Policies, Modern Treaties Implementation Review Commission, Changes to the Interpretation Act, Reimbursement of Negotiation Loans and Reimbursements, Assessment of Modern Treaty Implications, Training and Awareness Building and SSHRC Implementation Research. 

A meeting with Minister Carolyn Bennett (Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations) was also held to discuss the Land Claims Agreement Coalition priorities.
