Swearing in ceremony of Grand Chief Eddie Erasmus marks his 2nd term in office.  Now all members to the 3rd Tłı̨chǫ Assembly (2013-2017) are sworn in. The Tłı̨chǫ Government will be holding the 2nd Session of the 3rd Tłı̨chǫ Assembly in Wekweètì  on September 25, 26 and 27, 2013 at the Arbor.

The Tłı̨chǫ Assembly is made up of a Grand Chief, a Chief from each of the four Tłı̨chǫ Community Governments and two representatives of each of the four Tłı̨chǫ community. The Tłı̨chǫ Assembly sits at least 5 times per year. The Tłı̨chǫ Assembly is the law making body for the Tłı̨chǫ Government and has the responsibility and authority to implement the Tłı̨chǫ Agreement, and to protect and ensure good government of the Tłı̨chǫ Government and its rights, titles and interests.
