Exposure Control Plan & Returning to the Workplace Plan
As you are well aware, over the past several months we have had to adjust our ways of working as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We have developed an Exposure Control Plan to ensure our workplaces and staff are safe.  We have also developed a Returning to the Workplace Plan that details how we will work, hold meetings and gatherings at each phase of the GNWT Emerging Wisely Plan.  These documents can be found below:

As these are the plans we have to keep out staff, citizens and communities safe please take the time to review them and familiarize yourself with the measures and guidelines. If you have any questions you can consult with your local Occupational Health & Safety Committee Member or myself.

There are new processes, many which require a number of forms to be completed, that help to ensure we are following all the new guidelines and measures for a safe workplace. Your supervisor and site supervisor will help you navigate these.  I appreciate this creates a lot of work for everyone but please be patient, all these measures have been put in place to keep our staff and citizens safe.

One step we are asking all staff to do is to complete a daily COVID-19 Self-Assessment before coming to the office.   Please remember this self-assessment must be completed everyday you plan to attend the office.  If you arrive at the office and have forgotten to complete the self-assessment, the Site Supervisor will require you to do one before you are able to work at the office. Paper copies are available at the office if you are unable to complete the online version. The self-assessment can be found here:

I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to each and every Tłı̨chǫ Government staff for their cooperation and patience as we figure out our new normal amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
