The Tłı̨chǫ Government Early Childhood Department and Kerry Wheler are very excited to offer you another music class online that you can use with your children!

 

When children learn to play music, and sing, it helps their vocabulary and language skills. The act of singing songs helps children pick up on different sounds within words!  One of the most important things that families can do is sing with their children in Tłı̨chǫ or English.

 

Kerry Wheler is a music teacher from Yellowknife who taught music classes for preschool and K-3 students in Yellowknife and Ndilo before the Pandemic.  She would like to share some songs that can be used in your homes.
