DCLP Host 2nd Annual Research Expo
On Dec 6, 2023, the Tłı̨chǫ Government Department of Culture and Lands Protection Research division hosted the 2nd Annual Research Expo at the museum space in the Kǫ̀ Go Cho Centre in Behchokǫ̀. The purpose of the expo was for researchers to share about their projects, foster knowledge exchange between community members and researchers, and give a snapshot to community members as to which projects are occurring with Tłı̨chǫ people on Tłı̨chǫ lands.

In addition, photos were printed out from the TG Digital Archives (Cultural Commons) so that people could see what content was available in the digital archive. The Research Expo was planned by Tyanna Steinwand, Janelle Nitsiza and Lydiah Rabesca with assistance from Karen Gelderman and Rebecca Bourgeois. The Tłı̨chǫ Government would like to thank everyone involved for another successful research expo. Make sure to come out to the 3rd research expo in December 2024!
