COMMUNITY UNITES FOR MMIWG GATHERING • MASÌ CHO / THANK YOU

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our communities, particularly the youth, who have actively participated in events dedicated to raising awareness and paying tribute to Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and 2SLGBTQI+ people (MMIWG2S).

Also referred to as Red Dress Day, this serves as a symbol of loss, remembrance, and honour for our MMIWG2S. By wearing red, we aim to bring visibility to those who have vanished or been murdered, making a powerful statement and reminding everyone of the urgent need to address violence and crime in our Communities.
