The Client Services Economic Development team participated in the 30th Annual Cando National Conference, held at the Westin Calgary in Calgary, Alberta.

This three-day conference showcased a variety of inspiring Economic Development Officers and Indigenous businesses from across Canada. It aimed to foster collaboration and inspiration within the community, highlighting the growth of businesses and the active engagement of youth.

Additionally, Economic Development Officers attended an educational credit course titled "ACED 180: Project Management," which was delivered by the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology.

The conference was proudly funded and supported by the Client Services Department, demonstrating a commitment to economic development and the empowerment of Indigenous communities.
