2016 NWT Tourism Annual General Meeting and Conference
Tłįchǫ Government Representative attended the 2016 NWT Tourism Annual General Meeting and Conference held November 1st through, November 3rd at the Explorer Hotel in Yellowknife.
Theme this year was “Looking - Leaping Forward” celebrating 20 years working to grow in the tourism industry.
Numbers provided by GNWT-ITI started Tourism visitation in 2015 grew 11% over the previous year, going from 84,810 visitors to 93,900 visitors. Visitor spending rose 14% from $146.6 million direct spending in the NWT to $167.71.
