Tłı̨chǫ Artisan and Artists Strategy

The Tłı̨chǫ Artisan and Artists Strategy (the Strategy) is a document commissioned by the Tłı̨chǫ Government on behalf of the four Tłı̨chǫ Communities and the Tłı̨chǫ Regional Economic Development Working Group (Working Group). The document provides recommendations focusing on how each Tłı̨chǫ community, can work independently and together to:
Develop collaborative partnerships in the Tłı̨chǫ region for the development of a long term, ongoing framework, and strategic economic development plans that meet client, community, and regional goals and objectives.

Nàowo Wetʼà Ełetsʼeedìı (Tłı̨chǫ Assembly Rules of Order)
 
The Tłı̨chǫ are a united people and believe in collective responsibility.  Tłı̨chǫ unity is based on preserving, protecting and promoting the Tłı̨chǫ language, culture and way of life. Consensus decision-making process is the traditional Tłı̨chǫ governance system and the Tłı̨chǫ Government shall abide by this tradition. All Tłı̨chǫ leaders are role models and leaders must act in the most respectful manner. Tłı̨chǫ leaders shall follow the principles of the Tłı̨chǫ Constitution,  Tłı̨chǫ  Agreement and  Tłı̨chǫ Laws.

Fourth Tłı̨chǫ Assembly

Wekweètì Winter Road Access Law
Date: December 14, 2006

In this law, the Assembly granted access to Tłı̨chǫ lands for the construction of the winter road to Wekweètì.

Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation Administration Law
Date: October 26, 2006

This law instructs there to be a corporation incorporated under the laws of Canada called the Tłı̨chǫ Investment Corporation.  This Corporation shall be the main instrument of the Tłı̨chǫ Government responsible for the holdings, management and oversight of all Tłı̨chǫ Government business interests.   This law allows for the appointment of the Board of Directors, the President and Chair of the Board of Directors.
