On August 29 - 31, 2013 the Department of Culture and Lands Protection held a training session for Tlicho Environmental Monitors from the communities of Behchoko and Whati.  This session was the start of training Tlicho people to be the eyes and ears on Tlicho Lands in preparation for potential future development on Tlicho Lands, as the Land Use Plan is now in place.  Future training will take place for community members in all communities.
