In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the GNWT required workplace to close except for the provision of essential services.  Now that the GNWT has adjust these restrictive public health measures, Tłı̨chǫ Government employees are returning to the worksite.  The Tłı̨chǫ Government has developed a self-evaluation on-line form and is requesting that all employees complete this form before they attend a Tłı̨chǫ Government office.  

 By completing this form daily, Site Supervisors, who are tasked with ensuring that Tłı̨chǫ Government workspaces are safe, are able to identify if an employee maybe experiencing one or more COVID symptoms. 

 

If an employee is experiencing these symptoms they will not be allowed access to the Tłı̨chǫ Government office and will be advised to do further reassessment.  If no symptoms are present, an employee maybe allowed to attend their workplace where their temperature will be taken.  If an employee’s body temperature is higher than normal they will not be allowed to stay at the workplace.  These measures are very important in order to do our best to minimize the exposure of COVID-19 in Tłı̨chǫ Government workplaces.
