    Our region has talented Artists and Artisans from the Tåîchô Region. They include traditional art and crafts, which preserve traditional knowledge and the unique Tåîchô style. We also have contemporary aboriginal art, which include paintings, depicting Tåîchô oral history passed on through generations.

  • Jewellery

    The Berry Collection. Each beaded hoop earring set is named after the berry colours found in the Tlicho Region.

    The beads were hand sewn onto the hoop earring by Anita Williah, a young Tlicho woman, who learned how to sew from her mother Pauline Williah a well known Tlicho Artisan.

  • Books

    The Tåîchô Government and the Tåîchô Community Services Agency have worked together on projects related to discovering, preserving, recreating and celebrating the cultural heritage of our communities. These projects have resulted in unique publications that are available through the Online Store.

  • Cardholders

    Our Tåîchô Artisans create beautiful modern day products for everyday use. This product is great to hold bankcards, and business cards. The cardholders are made with either Melton Fabric or Commercial made hide, and are all hand beaded. Both cardholders have a unique embroidery flower design with a beaded outline.

  • Caribou Hide Cell Phone Case

    Beautiful Caribou Hide Cell Phone Cases, lined inside with Velcro closure. The Caribou hides are prepared by Tåîchô people, using techniques learned by their foremothers. Each case has a beaded flower design on the front only. This product is all hand sewn and used to hold cell phones, or a variety of things like bankcards, business cards etc.
    Each Case is individually custom designed by Marilyn Camsell.

  • Melton Purses

    Our Tåîchô Artisans create beautiful purses for everyday use. All purses have a beaded or embroidery design in the distinctive Tåîchô style, a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation.

  • Clothing

    100% cotton short sleeve t-shirt. There are four designs on the t-shirt. The front t-shirt design is a depiction of the Tłįchǫ flag. The back of the t-shirt is the word Tłįchǫ representing the Dene Aboriginal Canadian people living in the Northwest Territories.

  • Decorative Art

    Handcrafted decorations by Tåîchô artisans using traditional methods and materials, help portrait the lifestyle of a people both present and past.
